Nazarköy, one of the 29 villages of Kemalpaşa, was named Kurudere Village due to its establishment on the creek bed 5 kilometers away from Kemalpaşa, while its name was changed to Nazarköy with the approval of the Ministry on 20.03.2007 due to the manufacture of handmade eye beads. The source of livelihood is agriculture, animal husbandry and eye beads. Glass ornaments and evil eye beads have been produced in nazar bead January since about 1950 in Nazarköy. January 12 was found in the village until recent years, while the number of January has decreased to 5 today. Various kinds of beads produced by men at 1200 degree January in Bead Bazaar are presented to the taste of enthusiasts by turning into jewelry and ornaments designed by the women of the village. The village, which has become a place frequented by many local and foreign nature lovers and tourist groups, also attracts the interest of many television crews and journalists.
